IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Chapter 92 (Vehicles & Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: Article IV, Section 92-41 (Parking prohibited at all times) is hereby amended 'by adding thereto the following: Name of Street Side Location County Route 48 Both At Southold, starting at a point on the southeasterly corner of Soundview Avenue and extending easterly to the intersection of Bayberry Lane. II. Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 29th day of November, 1994, at 5:05 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. Pg.2 - PH LL Dear Clerk Terry, This is in response to your letter of September 22, and October 17, 199[t, regarding traffic conditions on the County Road ~,8 in the vicinity of Beverly Road in Southold. The Suffolk County Department of Public Works has no objection to the elimination of parking, standing or stopping at these locations. As you are aware towns have jurisdiction over parking regulations on County maintained roads outside of incorporated Villages, therefore no further action is necessary on our part. There are affidavits here, that was publication in the Suffolk Times, and also, in The Traveler-Watchman, and also an affidavit attesting to it's being posted on the Town Clerkfs Bulletin Board, and that's all.
