BE IT ENACTED. by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
Chapter 77 (Shellfish) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 77-202A.1 is hereby added to read as follows:
A.1 Ages 12 and 13 can apply'fOr a Junior Shellfish License
which will allow them to catch half the commercial limit and
'will be at half the cost qf a commercial license. The parents
or guardian must sign for the holder-of the junior license
making the parent or guardian responsible for any violation
·incurred.
II. This Local Law shall take effect UlSOn its filing with the Secretary of
State.

SUPERVISOR WlCKHAM: We'll be proceed to the second public hearing, a
"Local Law in Relation to Junior License for Commercial Shellflshing".
COUNCILMAN LIZEWSKI; "Public Notice is hereby given that there has
been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County,
New York, on the 9th day of August, 1994, a Local Law entitled,
Local Law in Relation to Junior License for Commercial Shellfishing".
Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will
hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town
Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 23rd da,/ of August, 199t~,
at 8:05 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard, This
proposed "Local Law in Relation to Junior License for Commercial
Shellfishing" reads as follows:

amended to read as follows:
