I have affidavit here from publications in Pg.2 - LL Parking Pern~it the Suffolk Times, and Mattituck Traveler Watchman, and also posting on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. There is no correspondence. SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: You just heard the public notice. Is there anyone in the audience, who would like to respond? Yes? JAMES DINIZIO JR: I'm James Dinizio, Jr. I reside on Sound Road, Greenport. This is at the end of my street, the parking area that I got a ticket on the Fourth of July. Anyway I paid the ticket, and I live 500 feet away from the beach, so I don't know why my car was down there. I urge you, please, pass this, but I, also ask you to enforce it. Many times I go down there, and I walked down there tonight to watch the sunset, and, you know, there's cars down there parked just beyond that sign. They feel they can just do it with no stickers. I know I go down there for an hour, and I get a ticket, then I read in the Suffolk Life about the seventies people not even answering the tickets- You know, it just concerns me, that all these people are going to. do now is move further down. They park in front of my house, and across the street from my house, and even friends park in my driveway to go and use that beach, and so if you're going to pass the law, I ask you, please, to enforce it- My wife and I have called several times on this, and you know, the Police come- They stay in Porky's parking lot. It would be a good idea if they just drive up that road there, and maybe have a discussion there. Also, after ten o'clock that particular road is a raceway, and it would be beneficial if they, at that time, have theiF discussions there, too. Thank you. SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: Thank you, Jim. Is there anyone else who would like to address the Board on this public hearing? (No response.) Hearing none, I declare the public hearing closed.
