A Local Law in Relation to Site Plan Approval
BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 100 (Zoning) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended to read as follows:
1. Section 100-31B (Special Exceptions) is hereby amended to read as
follows:
II.
B. Uses permitted by special exception by the Board of Appeals.
The following uses are permitted as a special exception by the
Board of Appeals, as hereinafter provided, and, except for
two-family dwellincjs and the uses set forth in Subsection B(15)
hereof, are subject to site plan approval by the Planning Board:
This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the secretary of
State.

APPROVAL".

SUPERVISOR HARRIS: The second public hearing of the afternoon, a "Local Law
in Rebation to Site Plan Approval", and Councilman Lizewski will read the verification
and publication of such.
COUNCILMAN LIZEWSKI: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented
to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 23rd
day of November, 1993, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Site Plan
Approval". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall,
Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 21st day of December, 1993, at 4:32 P.M.,
at which time all interested persons will be heard. This proposed "Local Law in
Relation to Site Plan Approval" reads as follows:

and notice on the Board of Southold Town, Clerk's Bulletin Board. I have two

letters concerning this "Local Law in Relation to Site Plan Approval". The Planning
Board has reviewed this proposal to delete two-family dwellings from the requirements
of the site plan ordinance, and finds it is in support of this proposed amendment
to the Zoning Code. Sincerely, Richard Ward, Chairman. I have another one, which
says, Pursuant to the requirements of Sections A 14-14 to 23 of Suffolk County
Administrative Code, the above referenced application which has been submitted to
the Suffolk County Planning Commission is considered to be a matter for local deter-
ruination. A decision of local determination should not be construed as either an
approval or disapproval. Very truly yours, Stephen M. Jones, Director of Planning.
