Terry, Southold Town Clerk." I have an affidavit of publication from The Long
Island Traveler-Watchman, an affidavit of posting by the Town Clerk, that it has
been posted on the Town Bulletin Board for the appropriate time, and there are
no further communications. I would just like to say that what the Law does, just
briefly, just to give you a brief synopsis of it, is the Town will now be charging
as we know for garbage. So, if you choose not to, if you're we'll say, commercial
person, and you choose not to buy the bags for your business establishment, it will
go in at the same calculated rate per ton, and will be weighed at the Landfill. So,
it basically brings everything up to the same price per ton.
SUPERVISOR HARRIS: Thank you. Are there any members of the audience, that
would like to address this Board on this Local Law change? (No response.) Hearing
none, I'll declare this public hearing closed.
