HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1993 #18LOCAL LAW NO. 18 . 1993 A Local Law in Relation to Yard Sale Permits BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Chapter 100 (Zoning) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 100-31(C)(10)(d) (Use Regulations) ;s hereby amended to read' as follows: . '(d) A permit is obtained therefor from the ~nspe~or Town Clerk upon the payment of a fee of fifteen dollars ($15.). Section 100-31(C)(10) is amended by adding a new subsection (e)'to read as follows: (e) The display permit issued by the Town Clerk shall be posted on the premises so it can be read from the street~ and removed before sundown on the day of the sale. The first public hearing is a "Local Law in Relation to Yard Sale Permits", and the second of the evening is a "Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Refuse, and Rubbish". At this time Judge Edwards will read the publication and verification of such Local Law. JUSTICE EDWARDS: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 10th day of August, 1993, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Yard Sale Permits". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 24th day of August, 1993, at 8:00 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. Dear Mrs. Terry: The Planning Board adopted the following report at its public meeting on August 9, 1993: Be it Resolved that the Planning Board has reviewed this proposed amendment which will authorize the issuance of yard sale permits by the Town Clerk instead of the Building Inspector.
