A Local Law in Relation to Parking by Permit Only
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 65 (Parking at Beaches) of the Code of the Town of $outhold is
hereby amended to read as follows;
1. Section 65-2 (Designation of parking areas requiring permits.) is
hereby amended by adding the following:
(13) Leeton Drive, Southold, both sides, for a distance of 610 feet
westerly from its intersection with Kenney's Road.
(14) North Sea Drive, $outhold, both sides, for a distance of 820
· feet westerly from its intersection with Horton's Lane.
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State.

SUPERVISOR HARRIS: We'll move on to the next public hearing of the after-
noon, a "Local Law in Relation to Parking by Permit Only", read by Council-
woman Hussie in reference to the publication of such.
COUNCILWOMAN HUSSIE: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been
presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
on the 10th day of November, 1992, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation
to Parking by Permit Only". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the
Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the
Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 24th day of
November, 1992, at 4:42 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be
heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation to Parking by Permit Only" reads
as follows:

In The Long Island Traveler-Watchman, also, in The Suffolk Times, and one from
the Town's Clerk's Office saying, that it had been posted on the Town Clerk's
Bulletin Board. There is no correspondence at all concerning this Local Law.
SUPERVISOR HARRIS: Is there any members of the audience, that would like
to speak in reference to this Local Law? (No response.) Hearing none, I'll
declare this public hearing closed.
