HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1992 #19 LOCAL LAW NO. 19 - 1992 A Local Law in Relation to Hotel-Motel Parking Permits BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Chapter 65 (Parking At Beaches) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Section 65-3 C(3) (Hotel-Motel parking permits) is hereby amended to read as follows: Hotel-motel parking permits shall be transferable and shall be i~sued hq e etear p~st--i-e ease and desi~gned *co be affixed hand ~on~ doo~ w~dow~ displayed on the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. The owner or manager to whom such permits are issued shall make no charge for the use of such permits by such guests, but may require a deposit ,oE exeeed f~e do~s ~$5~ to ensure return of a permit.- II. Arnoff SUPERVISOR HARRIS: As I said earlier we have thirteen public hearings on for the afternoon. The first public hearing of the afternoon is a "Local Law in Relation to Hotel-Motel Parking Permits", and Judge Edwards will read the first proof of verification, and publication of such Local Law. JUSTICE EDWARDS: "Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law. Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 10th day of November, 1992, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Hotel-Motel Parking Permits". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 24th day of November, 1992, at 4:30 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard.
