Chapter 32 (Boats Docks and Wharves) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: 1. Section 32-35 ICl [Water-Skiers) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended by addinchthereto the following subsection: 1. The following regulations sha~l apply only to Hay Harbor: a. Water skiing is permitted after 5 P.M. on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday unless organized waterfront activities are planned by the Hay Harbor Club. b. Water skiers will follow a pattern established by the first boat to start skiing i.e.' clockwise or counter clockwise. c. Skiers will remain a minimumof I00 feet from any dock or shoreline. II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State. Arnoff SUPERVISOR HARRIS: The second public hearing for the evening, a "Local Law in Relation to Water Skiing" will be read by Judge Edwards as proof of verification, and publication of such. JUSTICE EDWARDS: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 5th day of May, 1992, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Water Skiing". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of $outhold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local [.aw at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the.20th day of May, 1992, at 8:02 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard.
