Appointment of) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: Section 7-1 (Establishment of committees) is hereby amended' to read as follows: The Town Board. by resolution, may establish advisory committees for such purposes as it may deem nec-~-~ary to assist it in the performance of its duties. The term "committes~' shall be deemed to be a generic designation and shall also include any c~roup appointed by the Town Board as set forth in Section "a" above. includinq but not limited to any advisory counsel. commission, counsel, advisory committee, task forca or any other similar' nomenclature. Section 7-3 (Duties) is hereby amended to read as follows: b. In each instance the Town Board must desi'qnate the purpose for the formation of the committee, its scope and/or task and its duration. Each committee shall be accountable to the Town Board unless otherwise directed. Minutes shall be kept durinq each meetin.q and shall be filed with the Town Clerk within fourteen (1L[) days of any meetinq.
