Chapter 65 (Parking at Beaches) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended to read as follows: 1, Section 65-2{A)12 is hereby added to read as follows: 12. Parking area on the north side of County Road 48 at Mattituck. adjacent to Mattituck Creek. known and referred to herein as "Town Launching Ramp at Mattituck Creek". II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State. Edwards (out of town) SUPERVISOR HARRIS: At this time, ladies and gentlemen, we have two public hearings. We also have a third public hearing, which is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. tonight, and that public hearing will be on Jem Commons Realty amending a zoning ordinance. At this time, I'm glad to introduce the first public hearing of the afternoon, a "Local Law in Relation to Parking by Permit", and at this time Councilman Wickham will read the proof of publication, the verification of such. COUNCILMAN WICKHAM: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 21st day of January, 1992, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Parking by Permit". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 4th day of February, 1992, at 4:30 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. I also have a notification of a legal notice having been published in The Long Island Traveler-Mattituck Watchman, and another one that it's been published also similarly in The Suffolk Times.
