HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1991 #18 LOCAL LAW'NO. 18' - 1991 A Local Law in Relation to Parking Regulations BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Chapter 92 (Vehicles and Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: Section 92-42 (Parking prohibited during certain hours) is hereby amended by deleting the following: Between the Name of Street Side Hours of I~ocation Breakwater Road Both 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. In Mattituck, from Mattituck Park District north boundary line southerly for a distance of 250 feet. Arnoff SUPERVISOR HARRIS: This public hearing is on the proposed "Local Law in Relation to Parking Regulations". Councilman Wickham will read the publication and verification of said Local Law. COUNCILMAN WICKHAM: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been pre- sented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 30th day of July, 1991, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Parking Regulations". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 13th day of August, 1991, at 4:40 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. I have before me an affidavit dated the 1st of August, 1991, that the Town Clerk has affixed a notice in a most public place here in Town Pg 2 - PH LL Parking Regulations Hall, namely the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. I have also an affidavit dated the 8th of August from The Long Island Traveler Mattituck Watchman, that it has appeared in their newspaper, and similarly another dated the 8th of August, that it has also appeared in The Suffolk Times. I have no other communications regarding this hearing. SUPERVISOR HARRIS: Thank you. At this time, are there any members of the audience, that would like to address this Local Law change?
