Section 100-31(C)(9)(a) is hereby amended to read as follows: Not more than two (2) nonilluminated nameplates containin~ only names or professional signs fcct ~-~ea.- containin,cj only name and professional desiclnation as defined under Home Professional Office as set forth in this '11. article; each nameplate and/or professional sicln not to exceed two (2) square feet in area. COUNCILMAN WICKHAM: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been pre- sented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 18th day of June, 1991, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Sign Regulations". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 17th day of July, 1991, at 8:02 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. I have here an affidavit that it has been posted in a most Pg 2 - PH LL sign regulations. public place here in the Town of Southold, and I have an affidavit from The Long Island Traveler Watchman, and a copy of the columm showing it's been printed as a legal, and similarly one from The Suffolk Times. Memorandum about this proposed Local Law have come to us from the Planning Board (tape change) The Planning Board has no recommendations to offer. There is no consensus as to whether this amendment should be approved or denied. Similarly, we have a response from the Department of Planning of the County of Suffolk. Gentlemen, pursuant to the requirements of Section A 14-14 to 23 of the Suffolk County Administrative Code, the above referenced application which has been submitted to the Suffolk County Planning Commission is considered to be a matter for local determination.
