HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1991 #13LOCAL LAW NO. 13 1991 A Local Law in Relation to Land Preservation BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Chapters 25 (Agricultural Lands Preservation) is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Section 25-30 (Definitions.) is hereby amended as follows: COMMITTEE - The Southold Town Land Preservation Committee. Section 25-50 (C) (Alienation of development rights) is hereby amended as follows: C. Land Preservation Committee. The Committee shall consist of seven {7) members to be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Town Board. The Chairman of the Committee shall be designated by the Town Board. II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State. The proof of publica- tion will be read by Councilman Penny. The first Local Law is in Relation to Land Preservation. This is a combining of the Open Space, and Farmland Preservation. COUNCILMAN PENNY: "Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law. Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 4th day of June, 1991, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Land Preservation". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 18th day of June, 1991, at 8:00 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard.
