Dated: March 12, 1991. Judith T. Terry, Southold Town Clerk." I have an affidavit of publication from The Traveler-Watch- man, one from The Suffolk Times, an affidavit of posting on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. The communications, from the Suffolk County Department of Pg 2 - PH LL Fire Lane Req~'~"ements Planning, Gentlemen: Pursuant to the requirements of Sections A 14-14 to 23 of the Suffolk County Administrative Code, the above referenced application which has been submitted to the Suffolk County Planning Commission is considered to be a matter for local determination. A decision of local determination should not be construed as either an approval or disapproval. Very truly yours, Arthur H. Kunz, Director of Planning. The Planning Board Office Town of Southold, Dear Mrs. Terry, the Planning Board adopted the resolution pertaining to four proposed Local Laws. Be it resolved that the Planning Board has no objection to the proposed addition of Section 100 235.C. 1. and 2. on Fire Lane Standards for residential lots to the Town Code. It should be noted, however, that the amendment is silent on lane widths for commercial and industrial structures. Very truly yours, Bennett Orlowski, Jr., Chairman. I just want, just a brief clarification. This determination under the New York State Executive Law is made by the Building Inspector. We are adding the determination of the Building Inspector on the requirements of fire lanes, so that's it's clear to the public that they know the standards, that the Town is going to try to uphold. It's strictly put in there, so it's easy for people to find this, because we know that not many people would be able to find a copy of the New York State Executive Law, or even the basis of what this is about. Thank you. SUPERVISOR HARRIS: Are there any members of the audience, that would like to speak either in favor or against this Local Law? (No response.) Hearing none, I declare this public hearing closed.
