A Local Law in Relation to Change of Zone Petition Fees
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 100 (Zoning) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Section 100-291 (Fees) is hereby amended to read as follows:
Every petition for a change or amendment to this chapter or the
Zoning Map shall be filed with the Town Clerk and shall be
accompanied by a fee of one thousand dollars {$1000,). The fee
for a petition for a change of zone to Affordable Housing
District are set forth in Section 100-55(B)(5)(g).
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary
of State,

SUPERVISOR HARRIS: We'll go on to the third public hearing for the evening,
a "Local Law in Relation to Change of Zone". Councilman George Penny will read
the proof of rarification and publication.
COUNCILMAN PENNY: "Notice of Pubic Heaing on Local Law. Public Notice is
hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 10th day of October, 1990, a Local
Law entitled, "A Local law in Relation to Change of Zone Petition Fees". Notice
is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public
hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold,
New York at 8:05 P.M. on the 13th day of November, 1990, at which time all
interested persons will be heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation to Change
of Zone Petition Fees" reads as follows:
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 100 (Zoning) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended as follows:
I. Section 100-291 (Fees) is hereby amended to read as follows:
Every petition for a cl~l~ge or amendment to this chapter of the
Zoning Map shall be filed with the Town Clerk and shall be
accompanied by a fee of one thousand dollars ($1000.). The fee
for a petition for a change of zone to Affordable Housing District
are set forth in Section 100-55(B)(5)(g).
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State.
Copies of this Local Law are available in the Office of the Town Clerk to any
interested persons during business hours. Dated: October 23, 1990. Judith T.
Terry, Southold Town Clerk." I have an affidavit of publication from The
Traveler-Watchman, a like affidavit from The Suffolk Times, and an affidavit of
posting from the Clerk, that this has been posted on the Town Bulletin Board for

the appropriate time. I have the following communications from the Southold Town
Planning Board, Dear Mrs. Terry: The following resolution was adopted by the
Southold Town Planning Board at a meeting on Monday, October 22, 1990. Whereas,
the proposed amendment will result in an increase in application fees: From five
hundred dollars ($500.00) to one thousand dollars ($1000.00) for a change or amend-
ment to the Zoning Code of the Town of Southold. Be it resolved that the Southold
Town Planning Baord hereby recommends the adoption of the Local law, that would
amend Section 291 of the Zoning Code of the Town of Southold. Please contact
this office if you have any further questions. Very truly yours, Bennett Orlowski,

Pursuant to the requirements of Section A 14-14 to 23 of the Suffolk County Admin-
istrative Code, the above referenced application which has been submitted to the

tion. A decision of local determination should not be construed as either an approval
