A Local Law in Relation to Peddling and Soliciting Fees
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
Chapter 69 (PEDDLING AND SOLICITING) of the Code of the Town of
Southold is hereby amended as follows:
1, Section 69-105 (License fees) is hereby amended to read as follows:
The nonrefundable fee for each license application pursuant to
this Article shall be two hundred dollars ($200.) per year or
fifty dollars ($50.) per day or fraction thereof,
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of
State,

is hereby amended as follows:

IN THE MATTER OF A PROPOSED "LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO PEDDLING AND
SOLICITING FEES".

SUPERVISOR HARRIS: The second public hearing for this evening is on a "Local
Law in Relation to Peddling and Soliciting Fees".
COUNCILMAN WICKHAM: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented
to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the
10th day of October, 1990, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Peddling
and Soliciting Fees". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town
of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold
Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 23rd day of Octobers, 1990,
at 8:02 o'clock P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. This proposed
"Local Law in Relation to Peddling and Soliciting Fees" reads as follows:

Southold Town Clerk." I have before me, an affidavit indicating that the printed
notice is a true copy, and has been presented in a substantial manner in a most
public place in the Town of Southold here, plus an affidavit from The Traveler-
Watchman, that it has been published in that newspaper, and I understand, it's
also been published in The Suffolk Times.
