A Local Law in Relation to Dogs
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
Chapter 38 (Dogs) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Section 38-11 [License Fee) is hereby amended to read as follows:

Commencing on October 1, 1979, and until November 30, 1990,
the license fee for dogs, inclusive of other statutory
charges, is hereby set as follows:
(1) Five dollars ($5.) for a spayed or neutered dog.
{2) Ten dollars ($10.) for an unspayed or unneutered
dog.
B. Commencing on December 1, 1990, the license fee for dogs,
inclusive of other statutory charges, is set as follows:
(1) Ten dollars ($10.) for a spayed or neutered dog.
(2) Fifteen dollars ($15.) for an unspayed or unneutered
dog.
II.
This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of
State.

IN THE MATTER OF A PROPOSED "LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO DOGS".

SUPERVISOR HARRIS: The first public hearing tonight is a "Local Law in Relation
to Dog". Judge Ray Edwards from Fishers Island will read it.
JUSTICE EDWARDS: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented
to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the
9th Day of October, 1990, a Local law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Dogs".
Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a
public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road,
Southold, New York, on the 23rd day of October, 1990 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at
which time all interested persons will be heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation
to Dogs" reads as follows:

I. Chapter 38 (Dogs) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended to read as follows:
1. Section 38-11 (License Fee) is hereby amended to read as follows:
