Judith T. Terry Southold Town Clerk August 4, 1989 + V August 1, 1989 FOR DISCUSSION Ve McKeighan has $11,250 for the purchase of a van which is not enough. The prices she has gotten are: 15 passenger van: $19,150 (-$11,250 = $7,900 from Town) 8 passenger van: $17,950 (-$11,250 = $6,650 from Town) To get the 15 passenger van would cost the Town $1,250 more than it would to get the 8 passenger van. She feels that the difference is small enough to justify (and she needs) the 15 passenger one.
