A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called
to order by President Emmons Dean at the Southold Town Clerk's
Office, on Tuesday, December 26, 1961, at 1:30 P.M.
Present:

Alvah Goldsmith
Marion Regent
Minutes of the last meeting were read ~or information.
Application of Barry Coward and Philip Schuster to dredge
the channel in Dam Pond Inlet and Orient Bay, East Marion,
New York, was turned over to Mr. Philip Weiler and Emmons
Dean for investigation.
Permit
~wJ~k~x of Lighthouse Development Corporation, William
Pollert, President, to redredge channel along his property
in Jockey Creek was signed by the Trustees.
Quitclaim deeds t~ Ha~y E. and Flora B. Mason and Brown
Woods Association were signed by the Trustees.
There was a discussion concerning a barge or scow which has
been recently placed in Hallock's Bay. It was suggested by
the Board that a letter be written to M~. Edward H. King
asking him to notify the Board of his plans for the use
of this barge before the neKt meeting of January 2, 1962~
Letters were written to Austin M. Sarr, Dist. Engineer and
to C. M. Duke, Colonel, Corps of Engineers, US Army Engineer
District, regarding application 94758 of New Suffolk Dock
Building Corporation for a permit to dredge in Orient Harbor,
Gardiner's Bay, East Marion, New York, copies of which are
on file.
