A meeting of Southold Town Trustees was called to order at 4 P.M. on July 31, 1961 at the Town Clerk's Office, Present: Emmons Dean, President Frank Dawson John McNulty Philip Weiler Alvah Goldsmith Marion Regent Howard Terry Robert Tasker, Town Counsel Received application of EDWIN H. KING to bulkhead property on Hallock's Bay according to sketch furnished. Application approved- Fee $25.00 A delegation representing Laughing Water Property Owners~3 Association appeared before the Board to present their arguments in favor of their application. On advice of Town Counsel, Robert Tasker, the Board was assured that they had the authority to issue such a permit. The Board received the application of LAUGRING WATER PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION for permission to erect a new bridge over the channel to replace the old structure and to be placed approximately 40 feet west of the original structure, to remove ~ld piling remaining from original bridge. The application stipulates that the bridge shall have a minimum opening between pilings for the passage of boats of 12 feet width and an opening slot for the passage of sailboats. The Board approved the application subject to submission of suitable plans and blueprints of the design, which plans shall have an engineers seal and shall pass all requirements for safety both to pedestrian and boats. Received application of JOHN J. BOMBA for permission to dredge in Little Creek in front of their lots 17 & 18 Nassau Farms for a distance of 25 feet out to a depth of four feet - approximately 1000 cu. yds to be placed on meadow and graded, leaving the shore line approximately the same. Application approved - Fee $25.00. Received application of DOUGLAS WESTON for permission to place one stake off right of way in cove at Nassau Point at beginning of Fisherman's Beach at end of Haywaters Road. Application approved- Fee $.50 (paid) Received application of ANTONE KRUPSKI for permission ~o erect six (6) stakes for three (3) boats at the old channel of Richmonds Creek off the end of South Harbor Lane. Application approved - Pee $3.00 (paid) Minutes read and approved. Meeting adjourned at 6:05 P.M. Alvah B. Goldsmith, Clerk
