The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk's Office, Southold,
N.Y. on Monday, May 29, 1961, at 4 P.M..with the following present:
Emmons Dean
John McNulty
Frank Dawson
Philip Weiler
Marion Regent, Sec.
Lawyer Rensselaer G. Terry appeared before the Board on behalf of
Catherine R. Grattan, Jerome F. Grattan and Alice M. Duffy request-
ing a quitclaim deed from the Trustees covering premises bounded on
the north by Middle Road %27, East by Lipco Road, South by North Road
and West by for the purpose of satisfying the Title
Guarantee Company under their policy no. 1229574, by reason of the
fact that the original high water line of Mattituck Creek formerly
crossed the northwesterly corner of the premises south of middle
Road. Request for deed granted. Fee $10.00.
The application of LIGHTHOUSE DEVELOPMENT CORP., William Pollert,
President, for permission to erect a bulkhead on his property on
Jockey Creek was read. Application approved. Fee $10.00.
The application of JAMES P. KELLY for permission to dredge in West
Creek off Sun Lane, Southold, was read. Application approved. Fee $15.00
Applications of DOUGLAS CUMMINGS and DOUGLAS CONKLIN for permission
to place two mooring stakes each at head of Town Creek, off Youngs
Avenue, Southold, was read. Applications were approved. Fee $1.00 each.
Application of WILLIAM ZUKAS for permission to place two stakes for
a boat in south branch of Town and Jockey Creeks 25 feet apart was
read. Application approved. Fee $1.00.
Application of DESIRE B. LAYMAN for a permit to open up creek so Dam
Pond does not become stagnant was read. This IL a public project to
he financed partially by the Town of Southold, therefore the permit
was gr~nted for the minimum fee of $1.00.
Application of T. JAQUES LANCASTER to build a bulkhead in front of
his property on Olejule Lane, Mattituck, was discussed. Application
was approved provided the proposed work meets the approval of a ~/~
committee of the Board after inspection. The fee to be $25.00. ~W~~
