A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to
order by President Emmons Dean at 4 P.M., Monday, April 24, 1961,
at the Southold Town Clerk's O~fice.

Marion Regent
Minutes of the previous meeting were read for information.
Request of Mr. Harold Sabin for the placing of a light*d buoy
off the dredged channel at the entrance to Town Creek was read.
The Trustees voted to ask the Town Board to comply with this
request.
Application of John P. Marshut, considered at the previous
meeting was approved. Fee $10.00.
A letter from the Southold Town Planning Board was read and
considered. The Board voted to answer the letter and ask for
recommendations and suggest a meeting to discuss any recomm-
endations if they so desired.
Application of Arthur ~. Hansen for permission to dredge a
portion of his shore front on James Creek adjoining property
of W. Bickmeyer was read. Application approved. Fee $25.00.
Application of Rev. Arthur ~oyette for permission to put down
a permanent mooring in Town Creek with buoy and ~%ain requiring
125 ft. radius was denied. An alternative method of mooring
requiring less scope would be considered.
Application of Michael Zucas for permission to erect two stak~m
for boat mooring in old channel off south Harbor Road was
approved. Fee $1.00
It was decided that the Trustees hold a Special meeting on Monday,
May 1, 1961, at 1 PM to inspect the creeks of the Town beginning
at the western end of the Town. It was decided to have Mr. Moward
Terry accompany the Board ~ to take pictures for future reference.
