Approximately 375 c.y. of resultant spoil will be spread evenly over irregularly shaped area on adjacent property to southeast. A letter from said property owner authorizing the Association to do so is attached herewith. Material to be removed with backhoe. Since the area to be dredged is composed of sand, gravel and cobble with virtually no fine sediment, there will be no appreciable effects to the adjacent tidal waters as a result of the proposed dredging. The adjacent property to the southeast has been chosen as a spoil site since there is very little beach area to the northwest of the channel. Moreover, the property to the northwest is heavily vegetated by Spartina patens. Consequently, there would be very little area to place spoil without the material reentering the harbor or burying this marsh grass. Photographs, including an aerial, depicting and contrasting the two sites are attached herewith.
