HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-06/28/1965MEETING OF JUNE 28, 1965. The regular meeting of the Southold TOwn Trustees was held at the Town Clerk Office, Southold, N.Y. on Monday, June 28, 1965 at 1:30 P.M. Present: President Alvah B. Goldsmith, Ph~lip Weiler, George Simpson and John F. McNulty. Marion Regent, Sec. Absent: Frank Dawson With reference to the application of David Strong which was approved at the meeting of June 2, 1965, delivery of the permit and acceptance of the check is being withheld due to complaints from nearby land owners and due to the restricted width of the dredged channel in front of the proposed construction. The Board of Trustees will further examine this construction before any action is taken. A letter was received fromSupervisor Lester M. Albertson stating that the request of the Trustees for large scale maps of creeks and Town-owned lands under water was acted upon favorably by the Town Board. The maps will be made by VanTuyl & Son and will be delivered to the Trustees upon completion. A letter of appreciation was sent to the Town Board by the Trustees. Application of William R. Moore for a mooring in Richmond Creek was returned for more particulars as to the location of the stake. Application of Mildred Prince for three stakes in Narrow River, off Narrow River Road, Orient, L.I. was granted, Fee $1.50 paid. Application of Thomas C. O'Keefe to build a new dock 10 feet by 6 feet in Deep Hole Creek, Matt~ uck, L.I. in front of his own property was granted. Fee $5.00. A letter was written to Mr. John Rosicki stating that complaints had been received by the Trustees about a boat being permanently moored to stakes in Mattituck Creek without a permit. Adj our nment.
