Goldsmith at the Town Clerk Office on Monday, May 25, 1964. Present= Alvah B. Goldsmith John McNulty Geerge~mpson Philip Weiler Marion Regent, Sec. Prior to the opening of this meeting to the public, the matter of the application of ~oseph p. and Dorothy C. Ulrich was discussed by the Board. The Board visited the sight of the proposed work in Jockey Creek following last months meeting, and held an informal discussion at that time. As a result of th*se deliberations0 the Board voted unanimously to de~y the application. It was tJ19~expressed opinion of all members of the Board that approval would be given to the existing facilities as shown on the application, and to limit the dockage of boats to the floats then on location consisting of approx- imately 60 ft. of main float with three finger piers on each side of this main float and for whatever bulkheading might be required to protect the existing shoreline. The C~lairman announced this decision to the people present at the meeting and asked for comments. Mr. P~llert, representing the Jockey Creek Property O~ners Association, expressed satisfaction with the Board's decision. He requested that the Association be informed of any applications for any extensive work in the Jockey Creek area prior to approval by the Town Trustees. The Town Trustees approved and executed the settlement agreement with the County of Suffolk for the following described real property lying and being at northwest corner of Middle Reed Extension, C.R.27A and WEstphalia Avenue, Town of Southold, C.OUnty of Suffolk, State of New York, as shown on Damage Map N6~ 10 and consisting of a taking area of 42, 465 ~ sq. ft. or 0.975 ~ acres more or less in consider- ation of $4,246.50. Mosle, Presidmnt of Lau~hin~..Water Property o~ners ASSOCiation, Inc. to dredge the existing marina waterway in Corey Creek was approved subject to the determination of yardage to be excavated. Application of Mr~ & Mrs. Edward D. Width to maintain floating dock in Jockey Creek was approved - Fee $1.00. This dock replaced an old one which had been erected many years before the Ordinance was adopted and Mr. Wirth wants a permit to comply with the laws of the Trusteed. Mr. Julian Zurawski wishes to ~mend his application of April 1963 ~No. 22~))'for a dock and float in Mattituck Creek by adding three (3) feet to each end of the ~loat making an overall length of 20 feet instead of the present 14 feet. Approved - Fee $3.00. Adjournment. Marion A. Regen
