HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-02/24/1964MEETING OF FEBRUARY 24, 1964 The regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at the Town Clerk Office, Southold, N.Y. at 1:30 P.M. on February 24, 1964. Present: Emmons Dean, President Alvah B. Goldsmith, Clerk Philip Weiler Frank Dawson Marion Regent, Sec. Mr. Joseph Ulrich presented an application to the Board for permission to dredge, bulkhead and install docks in Jockey Creek opposite to his upland. Mr. Ed Lademann presented a petition signed by 28 shore front owners on Jockey Creek objecting to any further increase of dockage for boats, etc. in this location. The Clerk reported letters and phone calls and personal visits f~om owners on this creek objecting to the proposed applicatiOn/of ~r-~ U~rich- The Board voted to lay the application on the table pending investigation and to allow time for additional information to be submitted. Notice of next meeting on this application will be sent to signers of petition. Mr. James Rambo appeared before the Board to present an applic- ation on behalf of Mr. R. C. Ko~f for permission to dredge approximately 440 cu yds in Deep Hole Creek in front of an 80' bulkhead to be erected along high water mark on his property. Application approved- fee for dredging $17.76, bulkhead $20.00 Total $37.76, paid by Mr. Rambo. Mr. James Rambo also presented an application of C. H. wickham to bulkhead and dredge on his own property adjacent to the prop- erty of Mr. R. C. Kopf. Bulkhead 50 feet and dredging 356 cu. yds. Application approved. Fee - bulkhead $12.50, dredging $14.24, Total $26.74. Paid $15.00 by check of C. H. Wickham and $11.74 check by Mr. Rambo. Application received from Mr. Roger DeMott for permission to erect a dock 15 ft. long by 5' wide, parallel to the shore line ~f his property on Jockey Cree~%~ to~ether with two (2) piles one off either end of said dock~ Application approved. Fee $7.50 for dock and $1.00 for 2 piles. Total $8.50. Application of Mattituck Inlet Marina and Shipyard Inc. for permission to erect additional floating docks on their property totaling 280 feet was received. Application approved. Fee ~ ~ .50 per ft. $140.00. Mr. Edwin King phoned in relation to permission to install gas pumps and sign on his private marina. The Board referred this to the Building Inspector for decision of the Zoning Board. Minutes read and approved. Meeting adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
