HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-01/29/1964- MEETING OF JANUARY 29, 1964 - The regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at the Supervisor's Office, Greenport, New York at 1:45 P.M. on January 29, 1964. Present: Emmons Dean Frank Dawson John McNulty Philip Weiler Alvah Goldsmith Supervisor Lester M. Albertson Justice Henry A. Clark The Supervisor reported that there have been comp- laints about the jetties erected near the entrance tO Brushes Creek, said property being owned by Frank Fulcher. The Board voted to write Mr. Fulcher advising him that these structures are causing the creek entrance to be closed up. Since the structures were installed without a permit, the Board has no alternative but to order them removed forthwith. The Supervisor announced that there would be an interesting meeting on Wednesday, Febnuary 19, 1964 at the Mattituck Fire House relating to the redredging of Mattituck Creek to 7' below low water rather than 7' below high water. The Supervisor explained to the Board the progress being made in the dredging of Corey Creek and the proposed dredging of Deep Hole Creek and James Creek and the entrance to West Creek in New Suffolk. The Board will investigate the proposed bulkheading of Gull Pond after this meeting adjourns. Minutes read and approved. Meeting adjourned at 3 P.M. Alvah B. Goldsmith, clerk
