Copy of a letter forwarded by Supervisor Henry Tuthill from
Anna Rogers of New Suffolk, relative to the boats located at
the foot of 3rd St. in New Suffolk, was read. The Town Trustees
are without jurisdiction, it appears, from the facts at hand,
so no action was taken.
Application of C. GRAY SMITH & HOPE P. SMITH for permiss~n to
dredge along shoreline in front of their property on the south-
erly side of Jockey Creek - a distance of 270 ft. was approved.
Fee to be $25.00.
Application of WILBUR E. & OLGA BALDWIN for permission to build
a catwalk across the marsh in front of their property and to
install a float 8 x 18 ft. with a ramp in front of the catwalk
was considered. The three mooring stakes offshore of the floats
must not be located so as to interfere with the navigation of
boats in the channel of Haywaters Cove. Ap~lication granted
subject to these restrictions, fee $10.00 for walkway and
float and $1.50 for 3 mooring stakes.
On motion, the letter authorized to be sent to Joseph P. Ullrich
at the previous meeting was rescinded as the stipulations are
covered in the original permit.
