HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-09/26/1960MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 26, 1960 A regular meeting of the Board of Town Tnustees was called to order at 4 P.M., September 26, 1960, at the Southold Town Clerk's Office. Present: Emons Dean Philip Weiler John F. McNulty Frank Dawson Alvah B. Goldsmith Marion Regent Minutes of previous meeti~ read for information. Applications approved at Copy of a letter forwarded by Supervisor Henry Tuthill from Anna Rogers of New Suffolk, relative to the boats located at the foot of 3rd St. in New Suffolk, was read. The Town Trustees are without jurisdiction, it appears, from the facts at hand, so no action was taken. Application of C. GRAY SMITH & HOPE P. SMITH for permiss~n to dredge along shoreline in front of their property on the south- erly side of Jockey Creek - a distance of 270 ft. was approved. Fee to be $25.00. Application of WILBUR E. & OLGA BALDWIN for permission to build a catwalk across the marsh in front of their property and to install a float 8 x 18 ft. with a ramp in front of the catwalk was considered. The three mooring stakes offshore of the floats must not be located so as to interfere with the navigation of boats in the channel of Haywaters Cove. Ap~lication granted subject to these restrictions, fee $10.00 for walkway and float and $1.50 for 3 mooring stakes. On motion, the letter authorized to be sent to Joseph P. Ullrich at the previous meeting was rescinded as the stipulations are covered in the original permit. Minutes read and approved/ Meeting adjourned at 5:20 P.M. Alvah B. Goldsmith Clerk
