Application of CARL E. and INEZ B. VAIL of Wells Avenue,
Jockey Creek, Southold, for permission to dredge and build
a dock in front of their property (Lot 9) was read and
discussed. The Board voted to approve the application. The
fee for dredging to the existing channel and along their
shore line plus the erection of the dock is to be $35.00.
The application of Mr. C. R. WEIDINGER for permission
to erect two piles and a walkway over the meadow bog on
the Town right of way at Haywater's Cove near Fisherman's
Beach, Nassau Point was read and discussed. Inasmuch as
this walkway will be on Town owned land, the Trustees suggest
that Mr. Weidinger consult with the Superintendent of
Highways Harold Price and thDough him determine the attitude
of the Town Board on this application as it is not within
the province of the Town Trustees, it being above high
water mark.
Minutes read and approved.
