July 17, 1959.
A meeting of the Southotd Town Trustees was called to order
at 4 P.M. on July 17, 1959 at the Southold Town Clerk's
Office by President Emmons Dean.

Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Regent
Mr. Moore, builder for Mr. GEORGE SCHMIDT, of Mattituck,
appeared before the Board to explain the application of
GEORGE AND OLYMPIA SCHMIDT for permission to excavate
an area 30'x30' in front of their property on Mattituck
Creek. Permit was granted. Fee $25.00.
The application of GEORGE E. LAGERGREN for permission to
erect a dock in front of his property on the southerly side
of Jockey Creek extending about 50 feet from high water mark
was read. The permit was granted. Fee $25.00.
Application of EDWARD Charmews to put out a stake in
Richmond Creek 150' east of 'Inlet Road off Indian Neck
Lane was read and permit gr~nted. Fee $.50.
Application of GEORGE M. MURRY, JR. for permission to dredge
in Haywater Cove and cut out a boat basin was read and discussed.
It was decided to inspect the property before taking action.
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Trubenbach appeared before the Board to
protest The $10.00 fee for erecting a catwalk (dock) on
Town Creek. The Board explained that the fee was nominal and
corresponded with the minimun fees charged for similar work
approved by the Board in other instances. No chaDg, in the
charge was made by the Board.
Minute~ read and approved, meeting adjourned to inspect
property of Murry at Fishermen's Beach.
