March 3, 1959.
A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to
order at 4 P.M. at the Southold Town Clerk Office by
President Emmons Dean.
Present:

John McNulty
Frank Dawson
Philip Weiler
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Regent
Minutes of the last meeting were read for information.
MR. FRED YOUNG of Arshamomaque Boat Yard appeared before
the Board to explain the status of his property as regards
the necessity for a permit to erect a dock since this
property is liste~ as acreage on the map and was a man-
made basin before being connected to the Bay.
On advice of Town Counsel Robert Tasker, it was decided
that the Town Trustees had no Jurisdiction in such cases.
Their Jurisdiction is held to apply only to the natural
waterways and creeks in the Town.
The Board of Trustees voted to urge the Town Board
to take prompt action on the enactment of the Ordinance
submitted by the Town Trustees in January.
Permits for Joseph Gladstone and Charlotte S. O'Keefe,
both of Deep Hole Drive, Mattituck, were signed in accord-
ance with the action taken at the previous meeting.
Minutes were read and approved.
Meeting adjourned at 5 P.M.
