A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was cllled to order at
~ P.M. by President ~mmons Dean at Southold Town Clerk's Office.

Marion Regent
~r. Ra~mond Terry appeared before the Board to inquire if the Board
would consider g~ving Mr. Joseph Ulrich a permit to erect a dock
60 feet f~om his present high water mark. The Board advised Mr.
Terry that such a request would appear to be unreasonable inasmuch
as it would extend beyond Mr. Ulrlch's original property.
~r. Howard Terry appeared before the Board for clarification of
numerous questions that have been asked him regarding the Town
waters.
A letter was read from M~. Thomas F. Dal¥. Jr.in which he enclosed
photostatic copies of a5 agreement and map outlining the boundaries
between his property and that of Grace Nickles with the request
that it be kept &n our files as a permanent record. The Board agreed
to acknowledge the letter and advise Mr. Daly that if and when he
decided to do any dr dging, he file an application with the Town
Trustees and they would be happy to have him attend the meeting
at which action would be taken in the matter.
An application was read from Mr, Walta~ H. ~t,~m~v,~, of the Bartley
Association for permission to dredge in James Creek~ Mattituck,
along the property of C.B.S. Marr~ a member of the Association. It
was voted that the application be granted. The fee will be $1.O0
if the Town Board agrees to participate in the proJect~ otherwise
the fee will be $2~.00.
An application was read from Chestar R. ~Dd Ann, ?. Alb~rt~ tO
dredge and e~ect a dock in Jockey Creek in front of their property.
.The Board voted to grant the application for a fee of $10.OO with
the understanding that the dock should not exceed 20 feet in length
from the original high water mark.
An application was read f~m C. Gray Smith_for permission to dredge ~.~L~
in front of his property on j~Ckey Creek - 2?0 feet fronta=e- to a ~'-~'S~
depth of 6 feet and ~0 feet out f~om present high water ma~k. It wa~^'
voted to grant the application with the understanding that the dock ~.~
should not exceed 20 feet in length out from the original high water
mark. Fee for same to be $3~.00.
An application w~d from George C~ Schweitze= for permission to
erect a dock on~ Creek channel in fron% of his property between
C.C.McNeilly ~nd Victoria Rumpler. Tt was voted to grant the application
provided the dock should ~e located inshore of the dredged channel
and so arranged that it would not interfere with navigation thru the
channel by other boats even with a boat tied alongside of it. Fee $10.00.
