Present: ]~nmons 3Gea3~ Frank Daws en John McNult¥ Philip Weiler Alvah Goldsmith M~risn Re~ent Minutes of last meeting read for information. The ~oard decided the matter of the application of ]~urnett F. Tuthill. In view of the fact that all the dredging was on ~ie o~nproperty, the application was gr~u~ted and the fee reduced to the minimu~ cf $1o00, The 01elrk was instructed to advise Mr. Tom Daisy that his request to dredge a new channel into Hippodrome Creek, 3outhold, was denied pending an agree- ment ]~F all surrounding property owners as to the location and specifications of the proposed work. Application of Harold R. Reeve, Jr. for permission tc erect a dock in front cf hie property on Mattituck Inlet east of Love T=we was received accompanied by a sketch and a check for $10.00. The ~oard considered the ~atter and deci&ed to grant the application for a fee of $10.00o The application of Emile I~stadt~for perminsion to la~ % poles and board ~ for a catwalk -over the ~eadow bog in front of hie property on the upper part of ~gene Creek on Stillwater Ave., Cutcho&~ue, ~.¥. was ~anted, the fee to be $1.00. The application of Robert Trubenbach for permission to erect a ~ foot wide dock in front of his ~foot strip of property on Town Creek sff Hobart Ro~d between the properties of Hay Young and Xolle was discussed at length. The ~= ~oard decided that in view of the extremely narrow width of the upland property that it would not be equitable to grant permission to erect a dock where it would be impossible to use either side of the dock without encroaching on the rights of adJoining property owners. Unless written legal consent is obtained from the adjoining property owners the per~it ~ust be denied. An application was read from _P~ond W. Terra_and Susan Terr~ for permission to dredge alsn~ the northerly Ihore line ~n fron~ ox ~nexr property on Jockey Oreek beginning at a poin~ approximately 200 feet from the Main Read and ex- tending easterly a distance of 1000 feet. It ie understood that hhis dredging will not result in any encroachment beyond the center line of the existing gutter unless mutually agreed to in writing by property owners affected.
