A meeting of the Town Trustees was held at the Town Clerk's Office
New York, on June 5. 19~6 at $ P.M.

Minutes of the meeting of May 21, 19~6 were read fQ~ information.
The clerk reported that the matter of filling in of creek as a
result of dredEing by Fox in Town Creek was to be corrected by the
contractor according to the terms of the permit.
A letter was read ~r_~om M~uls.n ~r~ .... .. .~ con-
ce~ er$ct a dock granted to Henry A. Goldsmith on
what was represented to the Board of Trustees as being owned by said
Henry A. Goldsmith. They contend that their deeds grant them privilege
on this right of way as well as all oBhers owning property as lald
out mn a map dated Feb. 2~ 192~ by Silas Dayton and George Smith.
The Board visited the site and decided to bring the matter before
Town Counsel for determination of procedure under the circumstances.
Application of Morton J. PhilliD[ for permission to place four (~)
spiles 10 feet from beach at low water in M attituck off his Lot 21
on Mason's developeme~t. It was decided to have Mr. McNulty investi-
gate this request to see whether or not it would interfere with nav-
igation and establish any undesirable precedent in the newly dredged
creek. If the~e were no objection on this permit the Board voted
to grant the request for a fee of $10.O0.
Application of Ro _ for permission to erect a dock
on the southerly side of he channel at Goose Creek was read.
The Board visited the site and found the dock already erected. It
was the opinion of the Board that the dock was five feet too far out
into the channel. Permission would be granted on this basis but
not at its present location. If th~se are any complaints the dock
would have to be moved shoreward.five feet. Decision left to discuss
at ne~t meeting.

voted to approve both applications - Fee $15.00 for each one.
