MINUTES OF TOWN TRUSTEE MEETING
TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE
MARCH 27. 1956.
SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK.
A meeting of the Town Trustees was called to order by President
Emmons Dean at ~:30 P.M. on Tuesday March 27, 1956, at ~he Town
Clerk's Office, Southold, N.Y.
Present: Emmons Dean, President
Frank Dawson

Mr. Frank Hendrck~'T$~er~b-H--to redredge Jock~ Creek
Channel to a~n~ of approximately 1350 feet west fzom
the existing channel in Town Creek was read. ~h£s permit was
granted and a fee of $25.00 was voted as the nominal fee for
this project since it is an improvement to the general area.
Application of ~S. D?p.~.9~,g~r~i.~tLV~Jor permission to
erect a bulkhea~ combination dock and breakwater into
Gardiner's Bay for a distance of approximately 650 feet souhh-
easterly from existing Jetty into Gardiner's Bay and to dredge
a channel into the existing basin paralleling?said Jetty on
the westerly side thereof into existing basin to a depth of
approximately 9~ was read.
After considerabl~ ~ilO~lliO~ it was decided that this
application w~s outside of the JuriSdiction of the Town
Trustees and that the applicant be notified accordingly.
Application of Ray Ygunz_for permission to dredge in front
of his propertyon T6wn Creek was read and after discussion
it was voted to lay the application on the table pending
the submission of further information.
The minutes were read and approved.
