A Local Law in Relation to Wetlands
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 97 [Wetlands) of the code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Section 97-22 (Waiver of certain requirements) is hereby amended
to read as follows:
The trustees, upon request of the applicant for a permit, may
waive, in whole or in part, the provisions of Article II,
Section 97-21D,G and J, where it finds that the nature of the
proposed operations is such that the requirements of such
provisions are not necessary for a proper consideration of a
permit application.
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary
of State.

IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED "LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO WETLANDS".

SUPERVISOR MIJRPHY: This is a public hearing on a proposed "Local Law
in Relation to Wetlands". The official notice to be read by Councilman Penny.
COUNCILMAN PENNY: "Public:notice is hereby given that there has been presented
to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on
the 14th day of March, 1989, a "Local Law in Relation to Wetlands". Notice
is further.given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public
hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the $outhold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold,
New York, on the 28th day of March, 1989, at 3:30 P.M., at which time all
interest~ed persons will be heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation to
Wetlands" reads as follows:

I. Chapter 97 (Wetlands) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby

Clerk to;any interested persons during business hours. Dated: March 14,
1989. Judith T. Terry, Southold Town Clerk." I have an affidavit of publica-
tion by the Long Island Traveler-Watchman, an affidavit of publication from the
Suffolk Times, and an affidavit of posting by the Town Clerk, that this has
been pos'~ed on the Town Bulletin Board in the proper manner. There are
no further communications.
