A Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Rubbish $ :Refuse
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of SOuthold as follows:
Chapter 48 '(Garbage, Rubbish & :Refuse) of the Code of the Town of
Southold is hereby amended as follows:
I. Section 48-6.A is hereby amended to read as follows:
A.. Any person committing 'an offense against any provision
of this chapter, shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty
of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding one
thousand dollars ($'1,000.), or by imprisonment fo~ .a
term not exceeding fifteen (.1'5) days,' or by both such
fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense
against the provisions of this chapter shall constitute,
for each day the offense is continued, a separate and.
distinct offense hereunder.
This Local Law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of
State.

.MAN PENNY: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented
~wn Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the

Rubbish & Refuse". Notice is further given that the Town Board of the
Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the
Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 7th day of February,
8:00 o'clock P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard.
