Chapter 83 (Street Excavations) of the Code of the Town of Southold is amended as follows: 1. Section 83-7A(4) is hereby amend To read follows: (4) Fifty dollars ($n0.00) for the first one hundred (100) linear feet or part thereof of st£eet excavation and fifty cents ($0.50) per linear foot thereafter for all excavations five feet (5) in depth and ovez. Olive (out of town) SUPERVISOR MURPHY: This is a hearing on a p~oposed "Local Law in Relation to Street Excavations". The official notice is to be read by Councilm~n Penny- COUNCILMAN PENNY: "PubIic Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Sou[hold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 3rd day of May, 1988, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Street Excavations." Notice is further given that the Town Board or the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 17th day of May, 1988, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation to Street Excavations" reads as follows: BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of 5outhold as follows: I.
