HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1988 #11 Local Law 1988 A Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Rubbish and Refuse BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: I. Chapter 48 (Garbage, Rubbish and Refuse) of the Code of the Town of Soutkold is ~mended as follows: Section 48-3 is amended by renum~ering existing subsections C and D to D and E, respectively: Section 48-3 is amended by adding subsection C to read as follows: No garbage, rubbish, refuse or other material tha~ does not have its origin within the Town of Southold shall be conveyed or tra/~sported over any street within the Town for delivery to the town refuse disposal area. II. This Local Law shall take effect upoa its filing with the Secretary of State. (Please Use this Form for Filing your Local Law with the Secretary of State) Text of law should be given as amended. SUPERVISOR MURPHY: This is a hearing on proposed "Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Rubbish and Refuse" to be read by Councilwoman Larson. COUNCILWOMEN LARSEN :"Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of $outl3old, Suffolk County, New York, on the ~gth day of April, 1988, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Rubbish and Refuse." Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of $outhold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the 5outhold Town Hall, I~lain Road, 5outhold, New York, on the 3rd day of May, 1988, at 8:07 o:clock P.M., at which time all interested persons wil be heard. This proposed "Local Law in Relation to Garbage, Rubbish and Refuse" reads a5 follows; BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: 1.
