Law in ~elatioe to Boats, Docks and Wharves
the Town Board of the Town of Southold
Section 32-51 is a~ended by adding subsection F to read as
follows:
F- It shall be unlawful for any person served with a
notice of violation pursuant to section 32-51.C to fail
to comply with such notice.
Section 32-53 is amended by amending the title of said
section to read:
Compliance required; penalties for offenses
Section 32-53 is amended by renumbering existing subsections
A and B to B and C, respectively.
Section 32-53 is amended by adding subsection A to read as
follows:
A. It shall be unlawful for any owner, occupant,
builder, architect, contractor or their agents or any
other person to fail to comply with any provision of
this chapter, or to fail in any m~nner To comply with a
written notice, directive or order of the Bay
Constable, or to conduct any operation in a manner not
in compliance with a permit issued Dursuanu to this

Chapter 32, (Boats, dock~'~! wharves), of the code of the To~n of
Southold is amended as follows:
I. Section 32-51 is amended by adding subsection F to read as
follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person served with a notice
of violation pursuant to Section 32-51 C. to fail to comply
with such notice.
II. Section 32-53 is amended by amending the title of said section
to read: Compliance required; penalties for offenses.
III.Section 32-53 is amended by renumbering existing subsection A
and B to B and C respectively.
IV. Section 32-53 is amended by adding subsection A to read as
follows:
A. It shall be unlawful for any owner, occupant, builder,
architect, contractor or theiragents or any person to fail

any manner to comply with a written notice, directive or order

V. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the

which is on a proposed "Local Law in Relation to Boats, Docks and Wharves." The

COUNC[LWOMAN OLIVA: "Legal Ndtice, Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law.
Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board
of the Town of SOuthold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 8th day of March,
1988, a Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to Boats, Docks and Wharves."
Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of $outho[d will ho[d
a public I~earing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southo[d Town Hall, Main Road,
Southold, New York, on the 22nd day of March, 1988, at 8:02 olc[ock P.M., at

Chapter 32 (Boats, Docks and Wharves) of the Code of the Town of Southold
is amended as folIows:
I- Section 32 57 is amended by adding ~ubsection F to lead as follows:

notice.

Clerk's Bulletin Board. There, are no other communications.
