A local law in relation to license fees
for peddling and soliciting licenses
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Section 69-105 (License Fees) of Chapter 69 (Peddling and Soliciting) of
the Town Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section '69-;105. License Fees.
The fee for each license issued pursuant to this
Article shall be one hundred ($100.-) dollars per year or
twenty ($20.-) dollars per day or fraction thereof."
I1. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State.

DEPUTY SUPERVISOR KUJAWSKI: This is a public hearing on a proposed "Local
Law in relation to License Fees for Peddling and Soliciting Licenses." Councilman
Penny will read the legal notice.
COUNCILMAN PENNY: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented
to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 16th
day of June, 1987, a Local Law entitled, "A local law in relation to License Fees for
Peddling and Soliciting Licenses." Notice is further given that the Town Board of
the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the
Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on the 30th day of June, 1987,
at 8:02 o'clock P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. This proposed
"Local Law in relation to License Fees for Peddling and Soliciting Licenses" reads
as follows:
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Section 69-105 (License Fees) of Chapter 69 (Peddling and Soliciting) of the
Town Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 69=105). License Fees.
The fee for each license issued pursuant to this Article shall be one
hundred ($100.) dollars per year or twenty ($20.) dollars per day or
fraction thereof."
II. 'This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State.
Copies of this Local Law are available in the Office of the Town Clerk to any interested
persons during business hours. Dated: June 16, 1987. Judith T. Terry, Southold
Town Clerk."
I have an affidavit of publication from The Suffolk Times. An affidavit of
publication from The Long Island Traveler-Watchman. And a statement from the Town
Clerk that this has been posted on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. There are
no further communications.
DEPUTY SUPERVISOR KUJAWSKI: Aide there any comments from the west side of
