Dated: March 12, :1985. Judith T. Terry, Southold Town Clerk." I have an affidavit of publication in the local paper The Suffolk Times. I have an affidavit of publication in the local paper The Long Island Traveler-Watchman. I have an affidavit from the Town Clerk that she posted this proposed Law on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. That's all I have. In sum and substance, what we're doing is changing all nonresident fees. That's the only one we're changing. All the other fees remain the same. Nonresident fees go from $50.00 to $100.00 if we approve this. Page 2 - Public Hearing Local Law - Mooring Fees SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Thank you, Jay. Is there anyone here to speak on behalf of this Local Law? (No response.) Anyone here would like to comment against this' Local Law? (No response.) Anyone would like to make any comments at all? JUSTICE EDWARDS: My only comment is~ Frank, is changing the fees from the $50.00 to $1'00.00 is bringing an extra $2,000.00 in fee money into the Town of Southold and basically it was to provide for some garbage dumpsters down at the local marina where these boating people come in and they're very kind not to throw their garbage overboard, but now, inasmuch as they're going to have to pay twice as much to use the mooring we'll see if the shores stay just as clean. Thank you, Frank. SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Thank you, sir. Anyone else like to make a comment? (No response.) If not, I'H move to close the hearing. · Jud.t~ T.
