SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Thank you, sir. You've heard the reading of the
official notice. Is there anyone here would like to speak on behalf of this
proposed local Law?
MRS. RUTH OLIVA, Orient: Yes, I think it's a tremendous idea and I think
as long as you're doing the $2.00 you might as well go to $5.00 and really do
it up right.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: We're not doing the fees. They're not concerned on
this.
MRS. OLIVA: Oh, this is not the fees?
TOWN CLERK TERRY: That has already been set by resolution.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: You set the fee by resolution.
MRS. OLIVA: Well, I asked you to consider raising it to $5.00. I think it's a
good idea. I think we should have done it a long time ago.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Okay. Anyone else would like to speak on behalf of
this proposed Loca~ Law? (No response.) Anyone like to speak in opposition
to this proposed Local Law? (No response.) Anyone like to comment at all?
Any Councilman? (No response.) Hearing none I'll c~ose the hearing.
