HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL-1984 #01 LOCAL LAW NO. 1 , 1984 A Local Law in relation to authorizing the issuance of appearance tickets by Building Inspectors BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: Section 26-2 of Chapter 26 of the Code of the Town of Southold (appearance tickets)is hereby amended by adding a new subdivision thereto, to be Subdivision C to read as ~'ollo',vs: Co Building Inspectors - Any statute, local law, ordir, ance, rule or regulation relating to fire prevention and safety, health and sanitation, buildings, zoning and planning. I1. This Local Law shall take effect immediately. IN THE MATTER OF A PROPOSED LOCAL LAW, ENTITLED, "A LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF APPEARANCE TICKETS BY BUILDING INSPECTORS". Present: Supervisor Francis J. Townsend, Jr. (This public hearing was scheduled for 3:30 P.M., February 28, 1984. There was not a quorum of the Town Board available on that date, therefore this hearing was rescheduled for 3:30 P.M., February 29, 1984.) SUPERVISOR MURPHY: This is a public hearing on a proposed Local Law for appearance tickets by the Building Inspectors. Councilman Schonclebare will read the notice. COUNCILMAN SCHONDEBARE: "Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law. Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 14th day of February, 1984, a Local Law, entitled, "A Local Law in relation to authorizing the issuance of appearance tickets by Building Inspectors," which reads as follows, to wit: BE IT ENACTED I~y the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: I. Section 26-2 of Chapter 26 of the Code of the Town of Southold (appearance tickets) is hereby amended by adding a new subdivision thereto, to be Subdivision C to read as follows: C.
