Gladysz in response to my May 31, 1991 letter. Evidently, the County is understaffed and unable to issue the permanent permit as per our request. It does not appear, however, that the County has any problem in issuing the permit, that it is just a matter of time before we get one. For that reason, I can see no reason why we should delay payment to Agway Energy Products. Please be further advised that we have been withholding payment to Agway Energy Products, the entity which performed the work with respect to this interim permit, until such time as we are assured that their work is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. I have gone to Suffolk County Department of Health Services, and I am enclosing copies of the permits that allow you to operate. These systems have been in operation for months, and we still are awaiting payment. I am also enclosing copies of the bid showing approval for the amount that was billed to the town. The work that was done is in compliance with all the rules and regulations set forth by Suffolk County and the Town of Southold.
