to the extent deemed necessary to determine that such claims veree based upon
expenditures made in, accordance with law and regulations of the state Departaamea
of social. Welfare, that cancellations of checks and refund* of assistance and
j care were applied as credits against claims for states aid; and a review of the
records of recoveries of assistance and care to determine that such receipts
were reported in accordance with rules and regulations.

Reimbursements received from claims for estate aid were properly recorded
and accounted for.
Refunds of assistance granted were properly accounted for and applied as
credits against claims for state aid.
