Jim has brought to my attention that the Town pays a great many thousands of dollars for the removal of the hazardous waste throughout the year, and also must pay for the removal of the scrap tires (also plastic, which you removed from the bid list last year) . I know you have a determination concerning recyclables, but I wonder if you think it might be a good idea to check into the hazardous was/tend scrap tires since we must pay. (I only bring this to your atn because we were required by the State auditors to go to bid forja small item like milk for the Nutrition Center a few years ago. Please advise.
