HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-10/26/1964MEETING OF OCTOBER 26, 1964. A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to ~der at 1:30 P.M. by President Alvah B. Goldsmith. The meeting was held at the Town Clerk Office on October 26, 1964 with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, John F. McNulty, George Simpson and Marion A. Regent, Sec. The application of C. Edward Nelson to dredge and bulkhead in front of his property on Deep Hole Creek was granted, the fee to be determined after Mr. Nelson notifies the Board of the number of cubic yards to be excavated below high water mark. A letter was sent to Mr. Nelson asking for this information. Quitclaim Deeds were granted to Frederick and Florence Reiff and to John F. Burns to filled areas adjacent to their prop- erty on Mattituck Creek, which additional beach was caused by the County dredging. The fee for each deed is $1.00. mB applications of William C. Cha~ek and Helen J. Redheed to place a boat stake and a buoy, respectively, in Corey Creek ~resubmitted. After investigation by the Board as to the location of said stake and buoy, the Trustees approved the applications. Fee $.50 each. Application of Jules R. Gimbernat, Jr., of Point Pleasant, Mattituck, N.Y. to build a dock 85' long and 25' wide and set four (4) piles was held for further investigation by the Trustees. Application of Alexander and Dorothy Ruskowski to bulkhead in Goose Neck Creek in front of their property on Smith Drive South, Bay View, Southold, N.Y. was granted. Length of bulkhead 175 feet, Fee $43.75. Marion A. Regent, Sec~ary Adjournment.
