In this project, the original roof framing remained intact, and is structurally sufficient of itself. Nevertheless, in order to lower the ceiling and provide space for mechanical systems, additional framing was added: 2x10's at 16" on center ceiling joists at 10' above the finished floor. These add to the structural integrity of the building. Please note that all ceiling beams shown on the REFLECTED CEILING PLAN are ornamental only. I have notified Seifert Construction about the pool enclosure issues. Please let me know if you have any additional concerns. If file is complete, please prepare a Certificate of Occupancy and notify my office to pick it up.
